Songjeong Beach
Address: 62, Songjeonghaebyeon-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan
Water is relatively shallow and wave is tranquil, which makes Songjeong a perfect place for families with young children. The coastline leading from Jukdo Park to Gudeokpo on the right side of the beach is famous for its beautiful scenery. It is also a good place for fishing.
Haedong Yonggungsa
Address : 86, Yonggung-gil, Gijang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan
First built in 1376, this temple is unique being along the shore line, unlike most other temples that are built in the mountains. Take its 108 steps down from the entrance and you will feel as though you are in a underwater palace.
Osiria Station
Address : 14 Dongbusangwangwang 5-ro, Gijang-gun, Busan
It is a subway station on Donghae Line that connects to Centum, Sinhaeundae and Songjeong stations. The station is near tourist attrations, Orangdae and Sirangdae, and it can be accessed by shuttle bus that runs on the courtesy of Ananti Cove.
The Fisheries Science
Address :216, Gijanghaean-ro, Gijang-gun, Busan
Opened in 1997, it is the first science institute of its kind in the country. It displays marine life in a huge water tank and in both indoor and outdoor exhibition areas for visitors, but it also serves as a research ground for development of future marine resources.
Daebyeon Port
Address : Daebyeon-ri, Gijang-gun, Busan
To urists fill the port all year around because of its delicious anchovy dishes and famous seaweed. Korea’s Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries designated the fishing community as one of top 100 beautiful fishing towns in Korea. Its famous annual anchovy festival is held in spring.
Dongbaekseom Island
Address : 710-1 Udong, Haeundae-gu, Busan
Dongbaekseom Island got its name due to its camellia (called Dongbaek in Korean) forest, and thus is a great place to take a leisurely walk in the woods admiring views of the surrounding sea. An ancient writing “Haeundae” etched in rock during Silla Dynasty and the Nurimaru APEC House are other attractions to see here.

It is a fishing village that lies along a seaside rail track, and popular for restaurants serving grilled clams and sea eel here. Pier and seawall areas are also a good fishing spot.
Busan Cinema Center
Address : 120 Suyeonggangbyeon-daero, Haeundae-gu, Busan
It is the main official venue of the world-renowned Busan International Film Festival held every year since 1996. Movie directors and actors make appearances from time to time for movie openings, and serious movie goers come to see selected domestic and foreign movies.
